Do you like a surprise, the occasional treat or simply enjoy trying newly invented products? Then Monsterbox might be fun for you to try! A Monsterbox contains a wide range of new, changing products for you to try and review. Think a new soft drink, a vegan protein mix or a sustainable cleaning product. And to sell the boxes, the Monsterbox team knocked on our door some time ago.
A product ideally suited to be sold through social media ads
The Monsterbox is sold once in a while, and our team has been involved for several years to make each edition a success through online advertising. So too for this spring’s edition.
The Monsterbox is an eminently suitable product to sell through ads via Instagram and Facebook. It’s not really something you look for in Google, but targeting options within Facebook do give great opportunities to reach the right people. For example, the following targeting options were used:
- Customers who previously bought a box in the autumn were reached;
- People who interacted with our Facebook or Instagram page were reached;
- People who had visited the Monsterbox website once before were reached with an ad.
Almost immediately after turning on the ads, it started running.
Result: We paid €0,55 in cost per sale of one box with an ROAS of 25
Immediately, we saw the first sales trickle in. With the end result that we paid €0,55 per Monster Box sale, which ensured that we ended up earning €25 in sales for every €1 we spent on ads. With this result, we are now working towards the autumn, when the new boxes will be available again!
