We are Searchlab, a young and informal company specializing in digital marketing and website development. We help beautiful brands grow, through online advertising (for example, through Google and social media), making websites more findable in search engines (SEO), or designing websites better so that users are more likely to purchase (UX).
What you will do
We are looking for enthusiastic and independent interns who have an affinity for online and want to learn all about Google Ads, SEO and advertising on social channels such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
Our goal is to turn you into a real professional, who will learn everything there is to know about online marketing in order to help clients from start to finish. And if the cooperation goes well and the company is doing well, you will have the chance to continue working with us for a longer period of time, because when we hire new permanent employees, these are often people who have had their first internship with us. So that together we can grow into the smartest and nicest online marketing agency in the Netherlands.
What are your duties and responsibilities?
- Setting up advertising campaigns through Google, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, for example.
- Writing good SEO texts for websites.
- Analyzing results: such as which ads perform well, and why.
- Thinking along in great social media strategies for ourselves and clients.
- Learning what good websites should meet: how to make sure that users make a purchase or request as quickly as possible.
- Obtaining Google certifications.
- Becoming an Excel pro.
- Setting up monthly analyses: how did we perform, and what are we going to do to improve that further?
Who are we looking for?
- HBO or WO educated.
- Demonstrated affinity for online (marketing).
- Clear and structured mind.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both verbal and written.
- Proactive and communication skills.
- You will receive bonus points if you are creative and have experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Sketch, for example, and want to continue working with these during your internship. In concrete terms, this means that you will think up your own cool online advertisements, for example by responding to current events, and set them up. But beware, this creativity is not a must! We are looking for creative people as well as less creative people!
- Someone who enjoys socializing! Our team consists of young people who enjoy having a beer regularly.
